![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There for their owner even if they are not played with often. I think you meant to say he’s instead of she’s hahaha but that aside, I agree with you and it’s ironic that woody left because he always told his toy gang that they always have to be Given that, what can you expect from life? But that was precisely the message, Woody did have a time when he made Bonnie happy, but then life circumstances changed for him, life as he knew it and what he was used to doing throughout his existence changed. The fact that there were two Christmases could not be the case because in addition to the fact that both in Hawaii Vacation and in that time forgot, Bonnie looks exactly the same age, in the canon of the film it can be seen that from the end of Toy Story 3 to the scene where she is going to kindergarten exactly 1 year passed what was seen in the Toy Story toons and tv specials are part of that year.Īnd yes, Bonnie did play with Woody, a bit of that year is appreciated while listening to the song You've Got a Friend in Me at the beginning of the film. AND DESPIT THE FACT THAT SHE PLAYS WITH HIM DURING THE MOVIE! Or he would’ve stayed with Harmony.ĭespite the fact that she could've only written her name on his boot RECENTLY, after 2 Christmas' where his boot still said ANDY. If all he cared about was not being played with then he would’ve jumped ship and joined Bo the second they met and not even bothered rescuing Forky. I honestly don’t understand how anyone can watch TS4 and genuinely think Woody hasn’t grown or changed at all. In the first movie HE knocked Andy‘s favorite toy out the window (although somewhat accidentally). He jumps out the window of a moving vehicle to rescue Bonnie’s favorite toy. He follows her to kindergarten orientation. He wants Bonnie to be happy more than anything in the world and doesn’t care if he’s the one making her happy or not. He goes out of his way to look after Bonnie’s needs despite not getting played with or loved. Sure, Woody isn’t gonna feel great about not getting played with, but it’s not the most important thing. Regardless, that’s not what the issue is. ![]() It was only one scene that we explicitly see, but it’s clear through dialogue and other interactions that it is a common reoccurrence. ![]()
